Nancy’s Healthcare Confession

Nancy finally fessed up.  As I have said from the beginning, Obamacare isn’t about health insurance coverage for those who don’t have it.  Obamacare is all about government control.  If it were actually about helping We The People, why on earth would the health benefits be delayed until 2014?  Nancy’s recent comment speaks volumes:

“It isn’t about diabetes, it’s about diet.”

Nancy spoke the truth at last.  They want to control every aspect of your life; telling you what to eat and how much to exercise.  Do you want bureaucrats deciding the menu at your house let alone your favorite restaurant?  What happened to personal responsibility?  What happened to the notion that there are consequences to your choices?  Now we punish the industrious with confiscatory taxes and reward those who would not make the same effort.

“There is, perhaps, nothing more likely to disturb the tranquility of nations, than their being bound to mutual contributions for any common object, which does not yield an equal and coincident benefit.”  ~ Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 7

The founders would be right to be angry if they saw the place we are as a nation.  They pledged their lives and their sacred honor to give us an inheritance that no other nation has ever enjoyed.  If  We The People don’t make this usurpation of the Constitution and our individual liberty stop, then there is no hope for us or our children.   If we don’t even try, then we deserve what we get.

Nancy, Harry and Barry all say they have what it takes to get this terrible unconstitutional healthcare bill passed.  If that were really true, why would they pull out all the stops on the arm twisting and Presidential influencing tactics?  They needed more time for more slimy backroom deals that can’t stand the light of day.  This one is not put to bed yet or they would have already had the vote.

Right now, nothing is more important than making sure the federal government knows they no longer have the consent of the governed.  Take your disenfranchisement to their offices, emails, faxes and phones. Take it to the streets, peacefully, of course. Turn up the heat and turn up the volume.  Don’t try to convince others to join the fight while speaking in sound bites.  Give specifics instead of regurgitating somebody else’s talking points.  Educate yourself on America’s history so no one can fool you into believing that this is what America is supposed to be.  If we always look to Washington DC to solve all our problems, we’ll end up giving away the freedom other men died to preserve.

God Bless America!

Awesome job as always Cari – so glad you’re here to share your knowledge and wisdom!

  • Hey just found your Blog and wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this particular post. Do you have an RSS feed or newsletter that I can sign up for? I really like how you write and want to make it easy on myself to find your stuff! I think it’s time for the working people of this country to show their displeasure in November!

Apparently now the states are considering repealing the legislation because it’s unconstitutional… This should get fun! (Runs to get popcorn)
