When Israeli metformin hydrochloride 500 mg Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in Washington D.C. a few months ago, the President barely gave the man a moment of his time. He actually left Netanyahu to speak with someone else while he went to get something to eat. Obama did not conduct the standard joint press conference with Bebe either. And there was certainly no pictures taken. This was the way our President treated one of our greatest allies.
How did he treat the leader of a false ethnicity, Palestinians, that is lead by terrorists? Mahmoud Abbas was greeted warmly and had an individual audience with the President and they exchanged the warm handshake pictured to the left. The President also promised aid money that we do not have. Why is it our responsibility to send money around the world? Especially to these occupiers. They do not belong in the Promised Land, particularly since their way of thanking Israel for giving them Gaza and the West Bank is to periodically fire missiles at them.
The aid money promised is $400 million dollars for Gaza and the West Bank for housing, education and infrastructure, and the President called the humanitarian situation “unsustainable.” What humanitarian situation? The idea that Gaza has a humanitarian crisis has been debunked thoroughly throughout the blogosphere. The Illustrious Idiot also maintained that a Palestinian state was the only long-term solution. Oh yes, the Palestinians sure have proven that to be true. Obama also called for a change in Israel’s blockade claiming that a ”new conceptual framework” needed to be considered. Does he prefer one that allows weapons through?
So whose side are we on anymore?

Iranian nuclear ambitions? Screwed up elections? Sorry, sorry but that is “internal affairs” and cannot be commented on by the Obama Administration.
While, of course, Israel’s Palestinian conflict? Not internal affairs at all. No, no, no. It’s practically a domestic issue.
Who is engaging their brain before writing here? OK, me but not the author of this piece. Where, for instance, is any evidence for the statement that Israel is “our” (certainly not mine) greatest ally? I would say that any ‘friend’ that attacks the USS Liberty is NOT an ally. That takes care of that bit of fantasy, right? George Washington was no friend of liberty (the REAL kind, not an extension of aggressive foreign policy, the USS kind)as he proved with the Whiskey Rebellion response (couldn’t have those hill billies compete with his slave-produced hootch) but he gave un-followed good advice about taking sides in foreign affairs. Of course God gives even BETTER advice, Thou shalt not kill, but soulless sheeple educated by a state Apparatchik can’t be bothered minding out for something as ephemeral as their place in eternity. “So, whose side are we on anymore?”, obviously not God’s.
Why don’t you take your anti-semetic, anti-american, tinfoil hat wearing idiocy elsewhere. No one believes the drivel of someone claiming God and yet apparently has never opened a Bible.
I guess that you would be one of the coercion jockeys that feel offended by my use of “coward”. Tough, You bow to the world but have no regard for Heaven. Your choice but your “principles” consist of going along to get along. Your measure of God’s will must come from a Rah Rah USA fundamentalist “preacher” and that is pathetic. But so is your manner of writing.
To the (less than) useful idiot who does not know how to spell Semitic, (well, I hit the wrong key on Gaza) I’m wondering just what I wrote constitutes “drivel? Was it about the Whiskey Rebellion? Washington’s unheeded advice? Perhaps he believes the Bible (with all of its contradictions) is the unvarnished ‘word of God’. Idiotic! as it was greatly influenced by worshipers of earthly power. Like THEY are about to allow words that erode their influence over ‘their subjects’. King James, Constantine, GREAT Christians – NOT. Hmmm. “FreedomsWings” What does this person possibly know about freedom. Does he have the freedom to NOT pay taxes to the anti-Christ US government? No, he does not. Can he possess ANY ‘private property’? No, only what the masters decide he can. And then the masters can condition ownership depending upon paying rent on it. Who owns his children? Ding dong probably approves of this lack of freedom. But he can call himself a ‘conservative’, can’t he?
While That bombshell is awaiting moderation, I have more for this propaganda-spewing ‘useful idiot’. The state of labor-zionist-israel accepts $7,000,000 per day gratis from “US” taxpaying fools. But that is OK because, why? Oh, and labor-zionist-israel GAVE Gava to the Palestinians. WHAT is the foundation for THAT absurdity? Shall we get to the part about what the blogosphere has “proved”? What H.S. don’t you smell here? Weapons (and bulldozers)are ‘blessed’ in the hands of the IDF but to be forbidden to captive wretches. You would make a clone of a certain Mayor of Chicago, ya know. You speak (write) as a coward and I am certain that you are one. A statist one, the lowest kind.
A coward?! Bwahahahahahaha!!!! I think we all know who the useful idiot is here and it certainly is not me. But you go ahead and explain to God how horrible His Chosen People are and question why He has blessed and protected a nation that should have been eradicated long ago based on logic – they are small and surrounded by enemies.
“Long”?? You have a very ego-centric view of the span of time AND you qualify for ‘useful idiot’ quite nicely if you support (and you certainly seem to) despotism (earthly government). You can tell if it is despotic, not in relation to other governments, but strictly on its use of force on its “citizens”. The congitively challenged pretend not to notice that, though. Bluster and bully I’m sure that you are capable of but love your neighbor, THAT takes courage. You fall short.
Here is an article from The American Conservative illustrating the despotism I posit for government. If freedom wings cares to refute it, have at. Of course he thinks that the attack on the USS Liberty did not happen, it is only MY word that it did and nobody will bother looking it up on HIS say so. Sort of like the ludicrous claims of labor-zionist-israel that the poor defenseless IDF boys were brutally attacked by the flotilla persons (in international waters, no less). Can you say “laughing stock”?
The Dark Heart of the US Government

Six days ago, we released our cover story presenting Sydney Schanberg’s stunning account of the American abandonment of hundreds of POWs in Vietnam, their presumed later death at Communist hands, and the decades-long governmental cover-up which thereafter ensued.
Since that time, hundreds of websites have reprinted the articles in our symposium or otherwise discussed the topic. Based on the known traffic figures for the larger ones, I would guess that some hundreds of thousands of politically-oriented readers have now become first acquainted with this long-buried story, and the voluminous evidence which stands behind it. I can well imagine the shocked and horrified reaction of so many of those individuals.
Meanwhile, the near-absolute silence on the other side of the case is quite deafening in its own implications. Neither anyone from the John McCain campaign nor from among his many erstwhile admirers in the media commentariat has seen fit to deny or dispute any of the devastating charges of his leading role in cover-up, charges leveled by an eminent Pulitzer Prize winning journalist. Keeping silent is always the best course of action when you have no remotely plausible case to make.
The sole exception to this wall of silence actually tends to confirm this impression. Two days after the release of our magazine, a prominent neoconservative website called FrumForum.com blasted back, with a front-page banner-headline piece denouncing the “baseless smears” being resurrected to impugn John McCain’s heroism. Interestingly enough, the 1000-word essay, followed by another 500-word piece soon after, constituted a classic “non-denial denial,” in which much vague verbiage was expended touting McCain’s heroic war-record and personal patriotism, while almost completely avoiding any mention of the very specific charges being made against him, let alone the massive evidence behind those charges. All in all, a rather curious attempt at seeming to refute an extremely serious accusation without actually discussing it.
More curious still was been the identity of the author of that piece, John McCain’s sole visible defender in the media and the blogosphere: Peter Worthington, an eighty-three-year-old Canadian journalist, is almost totally unknown to Americans. Although Worthington is David Frum’s stepfather-in-law, he is hardly a noted expert on our politics or our history. Why select him?
A plausible hypothesis presents itself. Once McCain’s supporters became aware of the gravity of the case facing him, they quickly went to their numerous friends in the media and the neoconservative movement, seeking public support in their time of need. And all these journalists and pundits, who have written so many glowing tributes to their maverick war-hero hero over the years, then sat down and began to read the 15,000 words published in our magazine under the heading “McCain and the POW Cover-up…” and quickly decided that silence was the better part of valor.
Put simply, if Schanberg’s extensively documented claims are correct then John McCain played a central role in perhaps the greatest act of national treachery ever committed in American history. And any American political figure or journalist who now associates his name with that of McCain stands an excellent chance of being completely destroyed as well, dragged to the bottom by the same boat-anchor. Thus, all of McCain’s previous legion of neocon fans have now run for cover, never once looking back. But since eighty-three-year-old Canadian writers have relatively slender American reputations to protect, poor David Frum’s elderly stepfather-in-law was dragooned into action instead.
Meanwhile, consider some of the names and reputations weighing in the other side of the ledger. A few weeks ago, Potomac Books, a small Washington press, published a collection of Schanberg’s war writings entitled Beyond the Killing Fields, in which his presentation of the Vietnam POW-MIA cover-up constituted one of the longest sections. The dustjacket of that book carries a glowing endorsement by David Rohde, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner currently at the New York Times, who declares: “Sydney Schanberg is one of the greatest war correspondents of the twentieth century.” Russell Baker, who also won a Pulitzer at the New York Times, is similarly lavish in his praise of the book. So counting the author himself, we may reasonably say that Schanberg’s POW theories are now backed by the credibility of four New York Times Pulitzer Prizes.
Perhaps poor David Frum has an elderly second cousin living in New Zealand who can now also be enlisted to help even up this score by publicly defending Arizona Senator John McCain against such dire accusations.
I attach below links to some of the aforementioned pieces, as well as a link to Alexander Cockburn’s long column on the same topic, published as Counterpunch’s weekend lead item. Given that the FrumForum piece defended McCain against what it characterized as a “rightwing” smearjob, I suppose that the editors must know something of Cockburn’s politics which the rest of us do not.

Just so you know the USS LIberty, a Navy research ship, was attacked by Israeli AF, in 1967 during the six-day war. It was agreed by US and Israeli independent investigations that the attack was a mistake, friendly fire in other words. No, we were not engaged and the ship was not in theater but Israel ended up paying over $12 million in restitution to families of dead or wounded plus damages to the USS Liberty … In ’68 dollars btw.
Ever hear that phrase before? Friendly fire? Or are you ready to denounce our own military because mistakes happen?
If you don’t understand that Israel is our greatest ally in the middle east, a democracy in the midst of maniacal dictatorships and lunatic clerics, that the land they are on has been theirs for 1000′s of years and as FreedomsWings mentions, that Israel should have been annihilated numerous times if not for the hand of God then you are delusional, just “a useful idiot” as Lenin would say.
Finally, since it is so often misquoted, God did not say “Thou shall not kill”. The word translated is murder. Big difference.
